| This quickly developing segment of agricultural inputs is getting
attention from all markets. Helena's goal in the BioScience products
category is to discover and isolate modes of action of newly discovered
compounds for the benefit of customers. Helena already has several
commercial BioScience products with several more in the R&D pipeline.
In new product development, compounds and organisms that improved
the long-term productivity of the soil and water are currently being
scrutinized. In addition, environmentally benign products formulated
with common bio-active constituents are being isolated and analyzed.
Existing products that are under the BioScience umbrella include
the unique and popular fertilizer additives Asset, Asset PPS,
Asset RTU and Asset RS.
Other unique BioScience products include:
- ARMICARB 100, a unique contact fungicide
- a complete line of soil bio-directing products
- Enzone, an effective soil fumigant for use pre and post planting
- and introducing our line of products that meet the National
Organics Program standards, EcoMate.
